For starters we had the polenta cakes which were big and delicious and came with a lovely Gorgonzola sauce. Licking the plate was a temptation.
For my main, I had the calimari appetizer because it was lunch and I wanted something light. It looked undercooked as you can see from the photo but it tasted overcooked and chewy. It was, unfortunately, not great. I didn’t finish it. Luckily the bread they brought out was warm and delicious.
My husband had the veal porcini and veggies. He was quite happy with it. It came with a house salad that had a very nice house vinaigrette.
They serve osso bucco on the first weekend of each month so we’ll give it another shot some time.
For dessert we had the honey and walnut crepe. It was definitely worth having!
Okay, I gotta say, this restaurant serves real food, from a real Italian who has cooked for the likes of Sinatra, Brook Shields, and Lady Bird Johnson! The food is not what you get at Olive Garden. It's more like what you'd have at your Italian grandmother's house. REAL food!!! Made with passion! I love this place! You guys, come and eat here because I really want them to make it. The owner is such a neat guy, too. They are totally accommodating when it comes to gluten-free needs. All the way down to the deserts. They have a gluten-free pasta on hand, too! So, come taste what true Italian food tastes like. 😋
The food and staff here are amazing. I've have eaten at a lot of Italian restaurants but this one takes the cake. This is the best and most authentic
Italian food I have ever eaten. I totally mean the best!!!! The chef even came out to greet us. This is a must come visit restaurant if you really want authentic Italian food.💯
Nice resturant with good food and great service. Nice bar area and very nice staff. I allso enjoyed the coffee at this resturant. I highly recommend if you enjoy some good pasta or in general Italian food.
Our 1st time here, and we truly enjoyed it! Food was perfectly cooked and tasted great, with great service, and the chef came out to ask how everything was. We will be back and definitely recommend it.
We had take out tonight but have been to the restaurant once in the past, we absolutely love this place and the staff. The food comes well packaged, (I was shocked to see the bruschetta was completely in tact from the drive). Definitely our favorite spot for Italian food, the inside of the restaurant is nice too
My bf and I love love loveeee this place! Every dish was 10/10! Our favorite was definitely the Fettuccine Carbonara. The cannoli crepe was my favorite dessert! The waitresses are also so sweet and attentive, made lots of conversation with them and they were constantly checking up on us. The food came out fast and hot. Every bite was just so flavorful and blissful. I don’t think we’ve ever had better Italian food. 10000/10, will definitely be back soon!
So, we opted to get their specials, which were not listed on the menu. Menu prices range 20-30 dollars, so one would think their specials would be similar priced. I don't mind paying for a good meal, but when you get charged 45 for a plate that you barely eat, it's tough. Flavors were just not there. Rice had a strong citrus flavor that was overpowering, and the meat was majority fat. As for the pasta, it lacked flavor. Portion sizes were good, but it doesn't really matter if you don't eat it. Usually, we can clear a plate, but not this time around. I'm really disappointed since they did have good reviews. Maybe we should have just stuck with the menu.
